About the Practitioner

Pat Button, LMT #911, RMTI #81, CHTP, CTTP

I have been a massage therapist since 1981. I have trained extensively in both Asian and Western massage as well as animal massage. In 1995 I spent several months in Chaing Mai, Thailand studying Traditional Thai Medical Massage. I utilize many different massage styles to address the specific needs of my clients and each massage is designed to meet that particular client's needs.

I strongly believe in empowering my clients by educating them as to how they can enhance their own wellness.

I am dedicated to working with veterans and their families to achieve healing through Trauma Touch Therapy. I have worked with the Veterans Integration Center in Albuquerque for several years.

My personal passion is working with animals. I teach companion animal massage and equine massage to other massage therapists as well as people working in animal rescue work. I have been an animal keeper at Wildlife West for the past 16 years and have had the opportunity to work with wildlife as well as zoo animals using massage to enhance their well being.

I am a registered massage instructor and have taught in various massage schools around New Mexico as well as CE classes for over 20 years.
